Applied Design Solutions

In this course, students explored issues of sustainability, affordability, and homelessness as it relates to the American housing crisis by individually researching and designing their own artistic tiny homes, while collectively building an actual, fully functional tiny house. Students learned how to design and render architectural models in a computer-aided design program and then print out their models using fused deposition modeling 3D printers.
